| Paul 27 January 2023 09:19:54 | From the Top of the Pops archive the Peddlers appeared 5 times but unfortunately all episodes were wiped, believed to be standard practice at that time. TOTPS didn't start achieving properly until 1976 I think. Information below: 28/08/71 Episode 399 Have You Ever Been To Georgia - wiped 06/05/1971 Episode 383 Let Ne Be Turned To Stone -wiped 06/08/1970 Episode 345 Tell The World We’re Not In -wiped 15/01/1970 Episode 318 Girlie - wiped 28/08/1969 Episode 299 Birth - wiped Golden Shot They were quite prolific on this show but alas only 6 episodes out of 367 survived. None of which have the peds on. Disappointing but you never know some may be discovered one day on a home recording, similar to what Bob Monkhouse used to do. All the best Paul |
